Career Synopsis

Graduating from Cambridge with an MPhil, David qualified with the Institute of Bankers’ examinations before moving into academia, directing and publishing professional research at Cambridge University for four years. He then took a top-level change management role focussing on strategic direction.

Background

Having a background in banking and education, and specialising in structural organisation, David directed and published research in a department of Cambridge University for four years before taking on a senior management role in a world-class institution.

As a Director at Rafan House, he has combined an interest in the impact of well-being on learning and change with his academic research and commercial experience and helps individuals through their decision-making processes within the group dynamic. He founded Futuremind Ltd in 2001, galvanising transformational change for organisations and their teams through learning psychology. David oversees training and consultancy on strategic thinking, effective leadership, handling conflict, organisational learning and change management for clients in the corporate sector. He is also a founding member and part of the research team at The Cambridge Code laboratories.

David’s research and experience helps organisations to establish strategic direction and effective change management in terms of staff, programmes and objectives.
